Banana-Grape Green Smoothie

Yield: 4 cups, 2 servings
Grapes provide sweet-tart flavor and health-supportive phytonutrients.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups red seedless grapes
- 2 bananas
- 3 cups chopped swiss chard or kale, packed
Equipment
- measuring cups
- blender
- rubber spatula
Put all the ingredients in a blender and process on high speed until smooth. Serve immediately.
Pear and Parsley Smoothie

Parsley isn’t just a garnish anymore. This nutrient-rich herb aids digestion and freshens breath—so use it by the handful and enjoy its bright green color and slightly peppery taste.
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 pears, chopped
- 1 cup chopped parsley, packed
Equipment
- cutting board
- chef’s knife, 8-inch
- measuring cups
- blender
- rubber spatula
Put all the ingredients in a blender and process on high speed until smooth. Stored in a sealed jar in the refrigerator, Pear and Parsley Smoothie will keep for 24 hours.
