Terrilynn Epperson and I have gotten to know one another through our work at the Living Light Culinary Institute.  After graduating from Living Light as a Gourmet Raw Food Chef, Terilynn fell in love with Fort Bragg and the Mendocino coast, and realized that she wanted to live and work there.  She became an executive assistant for Living Light and has grown into one of its most cherished and effective staffers.

Grapefruits are in-season right now in the sunny Southeast and prices are excellent.  You can find ripe, juicy grapefruits in supermarkets all over the country or if you’re lucky enough to live in Texas, Florida, California, or Arizona, you can buy them fresh from the tree at your local farmer’s market...or pick one off the tree in your own backyard.  (I’m envious!)
