One question I get asked a lot is whether you can lose weight simply by eating raw food. The answer is yes...and no. To maintain a trim physique, you need to watch how much food and calories you eat whether you’re on just about any safe weight-loss program there is...including one based on raw food.
But when you’re enjoying raw food, but you don’t have to watch quite as carefully because raw food tends to be naturally lower in calories than processed foods.

Some folks like to read a book to get their information, while others prefer to watch a video. Personally, I like both approaches, and that’s one reason that I post recipes on my site and then demonstrate them in videos on my YouTube channel.
Topping the charts on my Lunch and Dinner playlist is Mediterranean Kale. It’s one of many recipes that I’ve created that focuses on the flavors of international cuisine...and a personal favorite, too. You’ll find the recipe, along with two unique variations, in Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People.
Last month, I promised that I’d be talking about great ideas for raw food at lunch time, and I’m going to make good on that promise today. I’m going to share more information from the new version of Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People along with one of my favorite lunchtime recipes.
One of the expanded sections I’m really excited about is Raw Food on the Go. It’s filled with ideas for enjoying raw food when you’re eating away from home...something I do a lot! When I was shooting the new videos that will be uploaded to my YouTube channel starting in August, for example, lunch was a bit of a hurry-up affair. That’s when I was thankful for my Not Tuna Pâté recipe.
